KRÜSS AR2008 is an Abbe refractometer in which the sample is placed between a measuring and illumination prism. The device can measure the refractive index or Brix value and display the measured value together with the temperature on the LCD display. Using the serial interface, the measured values, date and time can be transferred directly to a PC or printed. The KRÜSS DR301-95 is both a high-quality mobile handheld device and a simple digital desktop device. In addition to the refractive index and sugar content, it can also measure the salt content (%) (NaCl). On request, the DR301-95 can be manufactured with any two other scales. Via the menu control it is possible to switch on the automatic temperature compensation for each scale – with measurement reference to sucrose. An alarm option can be set up for monitoring limit values in production processes. The supplied Mains adaptor turns the DR301-95 into a small laboratory refractometer.
