Dermatoscopy, also known as epiluminescence microscopy, also called dermoscopy, allows the examination of skin lesions. As the inventor of the first dermatoscope in 1989, HEINE is still a world leader today.

Skin cancer is becoming increasingly prevalent, particularly in young people. The development and widespread use of the dermatoscope have strongly contributed to the prevention and early detection of skin cancer.
