HARTMANN HydroClean® is an innovative, ready-to-use wound dressing for active wound cleansing and wound conditioning. It combines irrigation and absorption in a single product, thereby effectively supporting the physiological wound healing process – especially in chronic, non-healing or infected wounds.

The integrated superabsorbent core continuously releases Ringer’s solution into the wound. This helps loosen slough, necrotic tissue, fibrin, bacteria and excess exudate, which are safely bound within the dressing. At the same time, a moist wound environment is maintained, creating optimal conditions for granulation and epithelialization.

HydroClean® is non-adherent, enables atraumatic and low-pain dressing changes and can remain on the wound for up to 72 hours, depending on the wound condition. The dressing is suitable both for the cleansing phase and for the transition to the granulation phase of wound healing.
